Schooling

Schooling - Can someone who know the schools in Qatar tell me how I can get my 4 year old daughter to a school this Autumn (British Curriculum). I know the long waiting lists and the non responsive school offices (due to holidays). How one can overcome these anxieties and know that your child will have a school to attend to in September.

Try Al jazeera Academy. I will be starting at the school in september as a teacher and have heard and experienced the school so far to be excellent.

It follows the British National Curriculum and has majority expat teachers.

Take a look at http://www.aja.edu.qa/English/index.asp

for an indication of what to expect.

I certainly know I'm looking forward to it!

Hi Blnoor

Try the Newton international school. It is a new school and opening in September. They have got back to me straight away and I have found them to be very helpful. My children will be attending this school when we arrive in Qatar in the next month or so.

The email address is [email protected].
