Hi Friends,
My wife wants to stay more than six months in India . is it possible ? her visa will expire 2010 dec

yes, she can stay out of qatar more than 6 months..you need to get "Return Visa" fee QR 500, Deptt is near airport. fill the form and u will get the return visa for one year from the date of departure from qatar.

Don't be so sure. The extension of further six months is subject to approval of Immigration authority and the approval is geven case to case basis. You have to pursue your case with solid ground ..like proving she needs to attend examination ... or medical ground. So before her six months expires, visit Airport Immigration office and apply for further six months exit permit extension. If not approved, you have to get her here within six months.

Yes you could extend for entry for further 6 month by paying 500 QR (please check fee, might be changed)and could stay more 6 month.

Sorry My mistake. Yes she can but you have to visit Emigration department and pay some fees.
