Philippine School Campus: The Groundbreaking
After years of preparation the Philippine School Doha permanent building project held its ground breaking ceremony today.

"We are extremely exited. This has been a long time coming," said the Principal of the School Dr. Alexander S. Acosta, who along with the school board of trustees carefully draw-up a master plan of a modern-expatriate school that can level those of Western International and well-established expatriates school in term of academic excellence and able to cater the ever-growing populace of Filipino community children's education in Qatar.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held this morning at 7:00 a.m. at the premise of the proposed permanent Philippine School Doha at Mesaimeer area, just beside the Birla School and in the vicinity of the Roman Catholic Church of our Lady of the Rosary, Qatar.

Allow me to introduce myself briefly I have graduated in Bachelor of Secondary Education at the University of Batangas last March 2007. In between my stints from my former employer, I still managed to earn 36 units in Masters of Physical Education in Integrated College of Physical Education and Sports.
Also, I worked at the University of Batangas, my Alma Mater for four years as PE teacher, Swimming Instructor, Dance Choreographer, and Cheer Leader coach in College. Also, I have three year experience as PE Teacher in Batangas State University in College.
I'm looking for a job as a Teacher.

Is it the vacant lot beside Birla Public School or on the other side which is beside Pak Shaama School? On the picture it seems that the building behind is the Pak Shaama.

what I cant understand is - why the need for a ground breaking ceremony? Be it East or West. Isnt it simply a waste of money?

Congratulations PSD!!!
Hope this will be the final relocation of the said PSD. But the location is quit un-accessible and far. however it seems they are doing some roads widening to avoid some traffic.
