Pediatricians at American Hospital?

Does anyone have experience with them? I have a primary doctor there and am happy with her service, but want to know about their pediatricians before taking my son there. I am spooked by the Apollo Clinic story!

I agree with those above. Dr. Attiya is very good. Plus I've heard good things about the other pediatricians at Al Ahli.

Dr Fayed used to be at the American Hospital, but has since retired. The one that took his place, I wasn't very happy with her, so have since avoided going to the American Hospital.

Good luck.

I'm pretty sure medical insurance has to be provided by an employer. I don't think individuals can purchase their own policy.

I'm new here and when both my children got sick I took them to the American Hospital. The lady pediatrician had just started working there and she was very thorough. I think she is from Eastern Europe. I think Doha Clinic was very expensive. A friend was charged QR 800 for an outpatient consultation!!

I have found all the doctors to be very qualified and personable at Al Ahli. We see Dr. Attiya regularly. Dr. Manosh took care of my son when he was born and Dr. Mamoon has seen by daughter as well. Great care from all. Al Ahli (OB and pediatrics)is busy but I have never had to wait too long.

but if there is a admission required in Al Ahli it will be coastlier than any other place. The were charging a single room with visit doctor QR 1400 per day excluding the charges of treatments. Its only my experience with Al AHLI.The doctors and nurses were good.

Try your best to get appointment with Dr. Attiya at Ahli Hospital, she is the best pediatrician I have seen by all means. There is Dr. Maamoun there he is good also. Avoid the two other doctors there.
