Need recommendation for holiday w/ young kids

We'd like to take a holiday with our 14-month old daughter and three-year old son, which sorta means it's not really a holiday for us! (haha!) Can anyone recommend a place that is within a reasonable flying distance (within eight hours or so?), has things to do for adults besides sit by the beach/pool (that's not us), and has childcare for both kids?

A lot of places have childcare, but it starts at age two. . .which only covers one of our kids. We don't need them in full-time care, of course, but we do want the option. A place with good diving would be a bonus, but isn't required.

Also, do we need to book travel from Doha via an agent? If not, what is a good online site for this? Is there an advantage to booking through an agent?

Thanks,

There is the Clubmed which has its own website and specialize in holidays for different kind of people. One of the things they offer is holidays for parents with kids. They are great. My family used to go on a lot of their holidays as the kids are occupied all day with games, supervised etc. Certain clubs also have nurseries. Check out their info.www.clubmed.com/ -

Paris is the best place for traveling with the babies! We have 1 small kid and one baby - and we enjoyed our stay in Paris!

A lot of playground areas, small parks near almost any tourist attractions: Eifel Tower, Notre-Dame, Champs Elysee - you can stop there to feed, change your baby, and have huge fresh crepes with Nutella for yourself. They bake them everywhere, and it's fantastic - you can add chocolate, cheese, bacon to your crepes! Free clean toilets around every corner.

Museum Louvre, Orsey provide even the strollers for the babies and cafeterias...again to feed the baby.

People are very friendly, great food and coffee!

What else do you need for your vacation?

If you can afford it, I recommend Paris. It’s Fabulous in the fall. There are plenty of gardens & walks you can take. You can stay at Citadines Apart’ Hotel (Has branches all over Paris& all are conveniently located beside monuments). Baby sitter services are available at the hotel.
