i recently went to a place called my centre opposit international exhibition centre. it has a nice programme for kids and mom. just try calling darwish 5536397. for gods sake stop talking abt supermom news letter. that is just a hoax. nothing worth of time in it

I believe "supermum" is done but I will send you Mums the Word. The latest I have received is Nov/Dec.

most play groups offer a place for kids to play with each other, then a snack and may be do a craft, in that time mums just chat with each other and drink their coffee and tea! but our play group is less organized than this as we don't have a regular place to meet, and we don't have a group leader or something, we just meet to talk together and the kids get a chance to play with other kids.

in a previous post someone provided the numbers of other regular play groups. try contacting one of them if u want.

As pwb78 mentioned, we are trying to organize a week end play group, it's not a regular thing yet, but it will be great if we could gather enough people to meet regularly.

I also live near landmark and I have 17 months old boys.

What do you do? Are you a teacher having nursery? Don't get me wrong as i'm looking out for mums like me. This in order for me to develop my kids phyisically and mentally within their surrounding. Hope you can share some tips and discuss with me.

FYI i'm Shantini Rajaratnam from Malaysia. I've got two toddlers age 14mths and 28 mths. I in has been 6 mths since i moved into Doha. I'm also a working mum strugling between work and home.

rshantini76 - yes, someone has recently organized a Saturday group too. The lady who set that up has her own newsletter too, SuperMum. I'll send you Mums the Word and SuperMum. Don't know if the Saturday group is a regular thing yet. Emailing now...

Hi - what is your email and I can send you the Mums the Word newsletter. It has several playgroups listed along with other good mom-type information.

contact the following person for the mommy and tinytot group session. she holds it twice a week from 9-11, i think at her residence. she had advertised here before. she charges 10qrs per child.
