Medical card for a baby visiting Doha

Quick question ppl.My wife is visiting Qatar with our infant son and is considering getting a medical card for him since he's got a whole slew of vaccinations in the coming weeks.Question I have is (1) does everyone on a visitors visa need a medical card.The Mrs still has a valid resident visa,baby's ona visitor visa.They both have international medical coverage under my policy in the US
(2)Whats required to get a medical card-birth certificate etc.

if you can pay,go to any private clinique or hospital,meet a pediatrician,who can give him all the vaccins he needs(al emadi hospital has a good pediatrician dr bachar phone number 466 6009,652 4738).If you don t want to pay,then go to the nearest helth center of the place where you stay,there you can regester him with your health card ,meet a doctor who will give him the vaccins ,and it s free of charge.
