Marriage certificate for applying Visit visa

Hi,

I know i have to attach a copy of marriage certificate to apply visa for my wife. What if i dont have the Orginal copy of this at the moment. I do have a scanned print though.

Is it nescessary to attach the orginal one, Or Can i attest the Scanned copy from Indian Embassy with out showing the orginal one.

Get u r original certificate through speed post, Attestation on xerox copies is not allowed.
