Looking for Hindi lessons

My wife and I are from Canada and we really want to start learning Hindi. We both speak english and have taken a few years of French but we are starting from scratch when it comes to Hindi.

Are there any classes or courses in Doha?!

We also would consider hiring a personal tutor that could meet once or twice a week. We need somebody with experience teaching Hindi to English-speakers and ideally someone who is a Christian but that is not required. If you know of someone or are interested yourself ... please PM me with more details.

Yep just looking for conversational Hindi lessons. I have many new Nepali friends and others from the Indian subcontinent that I would like to be able to communicate with better. I would almost dare to say that Hindi is spoken in Qatar more than Arabic!?! :-)

I dont think there are any professional classes here but any Hindi teacher can teach you. My mother who will be here in July (currently on leave)is a hindi teacher and was teaching 1 adult and as much as 6 people hindi during last year. She also gave classes to university kids..but as i said she is on leave at present so you may need to find someone else!!

Are you looking for just spoken Hindi or with reading and writing? Not that I can teach you...but just to make your question more clear.

Are you of Indian or Pakistan Origin? Why are you keen in learning Hindi?
