Hi everyone,please could you tell me how to go about getting a residence visa for me to go and join my husband in doha.

You can either wait for your husbands company to do it... or, since I see you are from the UK, you can just show up and get a tourist visa at the airport. After 3 weeks you'll have to a visa run, but what better excuse to explore a nearby place like Dubai or Bahrain! I'm convinced that the best decision that we made when we first moved here was for me to arrive with my husband. If I would not have been here they would have had very little motivation to process my paperwork quickly... And, if they don't process it all before your tourist visa expires, they may even pay for your visa run :)

for family visa through his company..pro of the comapny will do the rest...it is that easy...

Your husband needs to apply for your visa form here. His work should help him with that. Only after you're here you can get the RP.
