How & where to marry

Hi,

I made a girlfriend in Dubai and I want her to come live with me in Qatar. I believe that the only way is to marry her. She is Chinese (and Bouddist) and I am Canadian (and Catholic). Where & how can I marry her ? What procedure can I take to make this happen ?

Help me please...

If you ask her over to Canada and marry there all you need then is to obtain a marriage certificate. In Canada I'm sure you can do the whole lot in a day without much fuss.

I'm sure you can work out the rest.

Simple first check with your respective embassies about all the formalities and paper work then solemnize the marriage.

You can get married here in Doha with a priest and the marriage will be recognized by the Qatari state. But you need also to check with your embassies what paper they need (before the celebration and after) in order for them to recognize your wedding.

But the way you are writing your story, I am understanding that you want to get married in order to be able to live together. I would not advice to present things like that to the priest because he can of course refuse to celebrate your wedding.
