Dont do anything now. The baby will be allright. Do not follow the instruction by someone who not a specialist doctor.

Check this link from babycenter.com:

And, if you are still worried, do visit your doctor and get his or her advice.

Dont do anything.

Consult the doctor first.

You DO NOT want to create a brain injury. All the platelets in the head are soft and have not yet fused.

Up until the age of about 3-6 months the head is still malleable because the soft plates in the skull haven't set and calcified. a 4 day old baby's head will still show the effects of a vaginal delivery. Unless the doctor says there is a serious malformation, don't worry. You can gently massage the baby's head but it will most likely turn out fine without it.

Use a small pillow filled with mustard seeds. This is an old Indian tried/tested method.

In the present day and time you should perhaps discuss with experienced medical personnel as well.

Points to b take care of.... you should massage the head very gently. Always made sure that when the baby was lying on its back, the head would be facing the ceiling. Buy or make a pillow with a rounded shape. Do not lay down baby directly especially the head on a hard flat surface to prevent flat figure

Buy or make a pillow with a rounded shape. Do not lay down baby directly especially the head on a hard flat surface to prevent flat figure. Soft massage is also important. I do this with my 2 kids when they were still young. So far none of them form a flat shape head. Hope this will help.

It happens when the baby is delivered. My mother always made sure that when the baby was lying on its back, the head would be facing the ceiling.
