Hi, I'm new here. My husband and I are wanting some information about living in Qatar. We work for the nebraska national guard (as civilians) and are looking into some contracting. I would really like to chat with someone with a similar situation as ours who would have the patience to answer all of our silly questions (as we have no idea where to even begin). We are a young couple in our early twenties and we have two very young boys (one that's 4, and another that is 18 months). Any and all information is welcome. Thanks.
I'm sorry for the broad question... I've looked through many of the past topics and I still feel like I don't know much. I guess to start... what is the cost of living? I gather that Qatar is pretty safe... What is the general feeling about Americans (we're not so popular in some places)...
