having delivery with no husband

I am having my second baby here at hammad next month. My husband is with me right now but his company is planning to send him to abu dhabi by the end of the month, meaning he might be not with me during my delivery. I have authenticated marriage certificate with me. Will I be encountering problems if I have my baby without my husband?

Ms. Soniya, I have here my sister in law and brother who can assist me, dont worry, thank you. My 1st baby is still in the philippines and I will still work out of getting him under visit visa which I confirmed also earlier that there is no need to show bank statement or credit card.

I don't think you will have a problem.I delivered my baby in Hamad Hospital and my husband even had resigned and left Qatar long time before that.I did not have problems applying for birth certificate. However when I approached CID to collect the certificate they insisted that either see my husband or provide his valid RP and refused to give it to me.Eventualy they gave it to me after talking to several people there.

I don't see any reason for hospital authorities to find any problem if your hubby won't be with you at the time of your delivery..

If you have valid RP, just relax..Carry your passport copy, ID copy alongwith you at the time of registering yourself in HAMAD..

So does it mean that you will be alone for your delivery?? Will there not be any elders around you to look after you and your new born + your first baby?????
