Happiness of South Africans

What makes the South Africans between the age of 18 and 28 happy in Doha?

I am a University student here in Doha and i have been asked to research the happiness of a particular ethnic group here in Qatar.

I chose South Africa out of pure interest so if all the South Africans out there could give me a hand that would me GREAT!!

Thank you!

if you want to do a survey. Just google for it and you will find the website. In that way you will reach even more people.

Clean cities with very little litter

- No potholes in roads and better infrastruture

I beg to differ to your above statement. Besides the lack of crime and the ability to travel more , there is nothing else that this place has that is better than SA. We by far have much better roads and infrastructure. Our drivers on our roads are much more coourteous than the lot here. !!!!!

Clean city? Are you talking about Doha?

And no potholes? Do you drive in Doha? There are a lot!

And not having to look over a shoulder if you are a man or a woman with company. But if you are a woman then better watch out.

But certainly no carguards, and they won't rob you.

It's true that had working hadn't killed anyone yet, but why to take risk?

Its the following that we find good about Qatar:

-Not having to look over your shoulder all the time looking for someone trying to rob or scam you

-No Carguards (people you have to pay to "look after" your car when you park it anywhere outside of your home)

- Clean cities with very little litter

- No potholes in roads and better infrastruture

We are also used to having a wide mixture of culture in South Africa, so we can find it easier to adapt here. Also the warm climate reminds us of home.

However, there are somethings that we do miss in SA and it is not all bad back there.

"safe transport system for all people". Which country exactly are you describing, biltong? Sweden?

Well, less crime with better policing, better public health system, safe transport system for all people, makes travel to some countries more affordable, & making more money.
