Future Medical Center staff from reception to Pediatrics don't understand the term 'emergency' when it comes to children. My son who is 2.5 years old was rejected as a patient although his temp was 40 degrees and could barely keep his head up from throwing up and they decided that they are fully booked (although all their patients are walk-in). I was shocked at the pediatric who saw how bad my son's condition was and still refused to take him in. It is a horrible place with the wrong attitude...the staff I know are poorly paid and therefore dont bother to do the bare minimum...DO NOT GO THERE!
My dentist recommended me to go there with my daughter as she needs extensive work with braces, surgery etc. And Dr. Sivam is supposed to be the one in diagnosing her problem. He in turn referred me to Hamad where we are in the process of finding out what needs to be done & had all kinds of scans done. Dr Sivam was until recently a consultant there. Very nice & informative. Dont know anything about the other services though.
Stress in babel is right Appollo and FMC managed by same people. I was there for my kid's medical examination the place was nice and claen maybe because the building is new,
The website of FMC ( www.fmcdoha.com) mentions many facilities like MRI which have not yet become reality at present. I had to go another centre for an MRI exam last month. So we better call it the Present Medical centre, Doha.
The "Future" remains very futuristic and distant !
Where ever Apollo group opens a health care facility, it will be known as Apollo. So this Future Medical centre may well be a separate entity, totally unrelated to Apollo Hospitals of India.
maybe its a case of putting the apples in many baskets..pure money sense here. Eh !!
Haven't been there as it is the Future medical center-it's not there yet but as MD said sounds promising. Let us know when the Current or Present Medical Center opens

stress_in_babel - Are you sure?
Apollo Clinic is part of Apollo Hospitals Group, India http://www.apollohospitals.com/
If they open a second clinic in Doha, I'm pretty sure they'd still call it Apollo.
*they're*....sorry, tired.
If you could choose one characteristic that would get you through life, choose a sense of humour.
Weasel, actually Future MC and Apollo MC have the same owner, so their just about the same.
They offer bad salaries, that's for sure.

I have been there and they were great - nice and clean and efficient service
