French School For Non-French and Fees

Hello everybody,

I am from Egypt and we are moving to Qatar in 3 months. My son is currently 2 years and 6 months. He is currently in french nursery in Egypt. I need to know when I will move to Qatar what should I do, should he still join a nursery or he will join a school. Can you advice me please?

Also, I heard that the priority in schools is for french people. Does that mean I may not find a place for him so it is better not to come or what?

Finally, if you will tell me about a school or a nursery, please tell me about its fees.

Thank you all in advance for your help
Sally

no you should apply as soon the registration are opened to get more chance in your side..but that the way they operate because they put them national in priority then when there is other vacant sits they offer for the other nationality.

in case that year you are not accept you can put it in french nursery there is 2 very good in qatar with the french curriculum ..

is more dificult than finding a school.

for most of the schools, not sure about Frensh ones, 3 years is the age for KG

For the accredited schools, surfing the embassy's site is the best resource.

Be carefull that the admission is about to start for most of the schools if not started already where the kid and his / her parents should be here with valid residence permits so you have to act immediatly and come soon.
