Hi,
my kid has a cavity, she needs to see a dentist.
Do they put the kids to sleep during the process? How much does it cost?

Amazing care at Ahli Hospital, Dr Yukti was very caring and efficient with my 3year old son, who refused to open mouth with other dentists before.

I know this is an old thread, but for any new people looking for a dentist for children, (Pediatric Dentist or Pedodontist), I highly recommend Dr. Rafif Tayara who works at (what she calls) the Dental Kingdom, a specialized great clinic for children at Cedars Dental Center, right next to Al Ahli Hospital. She's very knowledgeable and experienced, but most of all, extremely patient and caring with the children. Definitely try her out! Their clinic number is 4486-4088

You are only guilty if proven so.

At Dr. Sarahs clinic it's strange though that you have to come in each time for 20 minutes and then come back another time for another 20 minutes. I think it's being done for maximizing claims.

Queen Dental will not let you sleep with their charges...

I brought there my daughter to ask if they could just take out her braces. And they talked alot, they go around the bushes and can not just simply say yes or no,,,and we end up by telling they are going to continue the treatment for 20k, since its just a matter of few vists and my daughter will be done, but my daughter is just impatient to wait few more visits. When i got what they are opt to, i said no, if you will take it out, thanks but if not, goodbye. And we were charge Qr.200 of wasting our time in their talking without giving us the right answer of my simple question,

"There's nothing we can do to change the past, if it teaches  you a lesson profit from it then, forget it."

You can check out Al Rafa Poly clinic near the Jeddah fly over opposite Food palace.. They have one dentist..Dr. Amritha Dinesh. She is good in dealing with kids... And will try to avoid giving anesthesia as far as possible.

Is fantastic for younger children, we have been taking our son who is not quiet 4 there and they have a fantastic lady there who's card I've left at home but will post when i get it. She understood my concerns as in Oz children under the age of 5 they will only be done under a GA, which I would prefer as it's less traumatic for them, but she starts out with a simple procedure to get them used to visiting the dentists and starts to slowly step it up from there, if the child shows signs that it wont cope with the major work such as a big filling then she will suggest Twilight Sedation or a GA..

"Your born, You Live, You Die, given this premise, one can conclude since we have no control over when we are born and when we die, the only thing that matters to us should be how we live, simple really?" Mis-Cat to her philosophy Lecturer.
