Daycare help!!!
I have been offered a job with salary QR13,350 which I think its insane plus yearly ticket and medical insurance. My husband has an amazing job that has tons of benefits for us as well. I am pregnant with our first baby and the company offering the job accepted to wait for me until february as I would have been given birth by then as I am not in DOha at the moment.
Is there any good daycare so that a 2-3 months baby would be safe in?? I am so scared to death as this is our first baby and I am so scared I would just forget about the offer to stay with him, but at the end, I will be working and helping my husband save money for our kids and for them having what they wish for.
I would really appreciate some advices.
Thanks!!!
I am a working mother of 2 (6 & 3 years old boys).
You should know the truth about motherhood. It's make you happy once the baby arrived but also lots of works, less sleep, stress. The baby need lots of care and you cant trust anybody.
It's the right of the child for the love of the mother, that's why we brought them to the world.
Dont worry about job. If you able to get that much of salary now, you will get other better than that next time.
Dont miss this important period of your child's life. It is really important the best time for you to bond with him.
I back to work after 7 years vacuum for staying home with my sons. And I am glad I did it. It's worth it.
I dont think I can manage to work with 2 months old baby full time. Trust me, you wont get enough sleep at night ...
Think deeply, anyway it is all yours ....
Suzan what are the chances for you to get another extension maybe for a couple of months more? why dont u try asking the comapny that and u could probably work part time or from home for abt 3-4 months with half the salary or try to negotiate on something like that. Meanwhile like Pat said u cud probably take the help of ur mom or ur husband's mom to help take care of ur baby. Its just for a few months right? Why dont u try working something out, I'm sure it'll be fine if you put in a little extra effort for a few months.

call you mother or mother in law .they will take care of your baby like you.ask them, good luck.
"The most important job you will ever have is being a parent, no matter how successful you are in any other job, if you fail at parenting , your a failure...."
This was something I picked up from an interview on TV, [when I was pregnant, and like you in two minds if I should work or not] it was told to a daughter by her mother.
I'm so glad I stayed at home.... you will not regret it either....
Maid?? no freaking way!!!
thanks Alexa, u have been great! I will now talk to my husband and see what to do. At this moment I think i will sign the contract, but if I feel I am unfit, well, let the job go straight to the trash.. At the end, we cannot win everything, can we?
Suzan, i think countrylady is referring to this post..heres the link incase you havent come acoss it.

Alexa am with u, and know exactly what u mean. I have had problems with my previous pregnancies and drove me to have miscarriages.. twice.. so its a blessing, and am thankful for it.
I am just trying to balance everthing, and take advantage that we are in a place like qatar where u can find goood jobs and good salaries, descent ones at least. In lebanon, our country, thre is nothing like that, so its about making a balance with everything.
I got all ur answers, and made me think more and more.. i have this friend who maybe i can leave my kid with until he is bigger.. i am just analyzing at the moment, and when time comes, i will know what to do.. but at this stage.. i would love to stay with my coming son..!
what do u mean????????????????????
AT THE POST,LEAVING KIDS WITH NANNIES. U WILL CHANGE UR MIND
I am thinking about it a lot. And I prefer stayin with my child!
But again, the opportunity is so awesome, and the place even better, it has been my dream to work at that place, but I value my coming son more than everythng else.
Am I exagerating with this thing? my husband already makes QR25,500 and we have 12,100QR as expenses per month including entertainment expenses.
So?
2-3 months is too young, i agree with Alexa if you dont need the money, enjoy your babies first year, theres plenty time for work.
these girls are right in what they saying to u,the baby needs u,to bond with ,please think hard, from a mum of 4 and grand mother of 11, god bless u
now am crying!! I feel like I will be a selfish mom!! :(
Oh well..
Always follow your instinct ! :-)

I would kill myself if something could happen to my baby. At this point, me and my husband are saying that we 'can try for a month' but inside of me something tells me that when our baby is here, i wont be able to work as i would prefer to be with him all the time, looking after him.
Suzan, my advice you shouldnt work till the baby age at least 12 mths. Yes correct you can make an extra income, but 2 or 3 mths is too young to be left in the care of stranger (in my opinion). If something goes wrong (touch wood !), will you be able to carry the guilt ???
