Hi,My Husband is working in Doha, in a Construction company. We've been planning on coming over too, me and our 2 kids.
Is it ok to raise kids in Doha, We have a 11 yrs. old boy, and 7 yrs. old daughter.

I moved here with my family when I was a kid - and honestly, I loved it as a kid here.. I'm sure your kids will blend in too, because kids are used to seeing other new kids moving here all the time, and it is so multi-cultured but somehow that makes the blending much easier.

Raising kids here is not a problem. The only issue will be that they will have a "goldfish" bowl existence, too much luxury, protected from harsh realities. They'll only see life in its real true form when you go home on vacations.

Strange question...I think Philipino culture is well accepted in Doha... so u don't have to worry.. other cultures are already into competing hard to run after your culture !!!! Over all your culture is in high demand in Doha. Best of luck.
