Birth Certificate Not in English
Hi all, I am planning to sponsor my mother-in-law to visit us in Qatar on family visit visa. Following are the documents that I will be attaching along with the family visit visa application form:
1) My Qatar ID Card Copy
2) My wife's Qatar ID Card Copy
3) My Marriage Certificate (authenticated by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar)
4) My company's letter stating my job description and salary
5) My mother-in-law's passport copy
6) My wife's birth certificate (authenticated by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar)
I have just one quick question. My wife's birth certificate (the one authenticated by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar) is in Urdu language and not in English. I also have an English translation (officially stamped by Translator services which I use for my wife's Australian visa a year ago) of the birth certificate too, but I do not have it stamped from Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar (and they will not do it since they will require the embassy to do it first).
My question is can I use the authenticated original birth certificate in Urdu, and attach an English translation along with the application. Should that be okay? Can anyone help me in this regard, particularly someone who has gone through this process himself/herself.
Cheers
i think you need to translate it in english here and stamp it here and bring to the ministry. However,if you cant do anything for that and needed the embassy stamp you can ask your mother -in-law to have your wife's b-crt. to translate it to their country and and stamp and bring to the embassy-and send it here or scan the authenticated translated doc and send to you.
