Hi,

I just came back with my 2 months old baby and had the same questions. But dont be nervous. All you need to have is a valid residency permit for yourself and your wife. The officials in India will just casually ask you about the baby's visa & you need to tell them that your baby is WYZ months old and that her/his visa will be stamped at the Qatar aiport.

Once you enter Qatar they will stamp a temporary visa on your baby's passport. After that you will need to go to the immigration office either in Mesaimeer or Gharaffa. They will imeediately stamp the RP visa for your baby on his/her passport. Dont forget to get your's and your wife's Qatar id &passport. Hope this helps. All d best.

You can come with the baby without a visa if you and your wife has got valid RP here and after arrival you should apply for the RP of the baby. They will stamp a temporary visa in the baby's passport.

It doesn't work like that, you have to apply for a visa before the baby comes and the RP will be processed afterwards. No fingerprints or medical is needed.
