Any Park House School Parents?

I know that there has been discussion of Park House school here on the boards. I've gone back and read several. But most of what I see is by people who know someone who knows someone who went there and isn't happy. My husband visited there this morning and was greatly impressed with the school, much more than with ASD which I had been leaning towards.

Can anyone offer first-hand opinions on Park House? My children will be 11 and 13 in the fall and apparently my husband's company does have a priority with the school so it looks pretty positive for them to get in. My children have been homeschooled for their entire lives, so I want their first school experience to be a positive one.

Thank you.

Good Girl, thanks for the positive review. And I will say that my husband was very impressed by the level of discipline at the school. My kids are generally very well behaved, but having been homeschooled have never really been in a situation that requires that level of discipline, so it may be a good thing for them.

We are blessed that the company will pay for most of the fees. If not, we could never afford it and would have just continued homeschooling. As it is, we haven't really made up our mind to put them in school but hearing that it's a good place from people who are there definitely helps!

Orangkedah, we would be enrolling for the fall as well, so I'm not sure I'll be able to help you out. But perhaps our sons can become friends. Mine will be 11 this year as well!

Ok, I must be honest with you, I have 3 boys in Park House 13, 11 and 9 and I love the school. The curriculum is very good, the teachers are well experienced and discipline is number one.

The only thing I don't like is the School Fees; I have to pay the fees myself on a teachers wage for all 3 kids. It's expensive and it keeps going up.

Your kids will be very happy there.

Hi Aprilfamily... please do keep me informed on the outcome of Park House. I intend to enrol my son (11 this year) there this fall. Unfortunately I haven't visited the school yet but hope to do so when the family comes over for a visit from Malaysia. My wife however has been more active on this issue and has been e-mailing and browsing through the school websites from Malaysia and is particularly impressed with Park House. Thanking you in advance.
