oh what the hell.... SFS... if you don't like it... leave...

Yes, so there are lots of Indians in Qatar... hmmmm.... go anywhere else... you'll find 'em too.... (not to misunderstood as an insult - its fact)

Gold diggers.... ie. women out for money.... hmmm.. again... find them all over the world too...

Bad driving.. yes, well as cabride said... if you go with the flow and drive similarly... you should be fine...

I love Qatar... I am so not here for the money... would probably be earning way more in my own country at this stage... but after recently visiting home, I have realised I will stay here as long as they will have me...

Live your life to the fullest whereever you are... that is the only way to enjoy it:-)

There are positives and negatives. You will slowly learn the way of life her, what works, what doesn't.

A lot of expats stay because of the tax free salaries. minus the rent, medical, utilities the salary goes to your pocket. Incase the company covers the above expenses, most of the salary will go to your pocket. Which is a big incentive for quite a number of people.

Life is relatively quiet. You'll be able to enjoy a lot of family time. There is not much to spend on. So people stay for a awhile, make their money, go for vacations with their families to other destinations and when they have had/made enough, leave.

BTW, petrol is dirt cheap here. So its a lot of 4WD cruising the roads.

SFS he must be saying "far too many" on the spoiler side of productivity and social standing. Some saying that the immigration nows controls visa to check this out to avoid political scenarios.

pretty much go with the flow drive like the rest and avoid idiots, knock on wood i have not had a accident. If you do you just hope it is not with a national and you have some to call that speak Arabic. Nationals seem to be always in the right and you must not drink alcohol while driving ever one drink. I did some taxi driving in Australia and also was a forklift driver so it helps here for me.

What an Idiotic claim by 'Sun Fun Sea'.

He finds problem in Qater- So Mr Girl ladies chicken lover alias fun Sun Sea, if you really 'hate' this place, Go back to your garbage bin, ohho..the heaven!!

as far your education system, read this ..

"on May 1, 2006, the Puerto Rican government faced significant shortages in cash flows, which forced the closure of the local Department of Education and 42 other government agencies. All 1,536 public schools closed, and 95,762 people were furloughed in the first-ever partial shutdown of the government in the island's history.(source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puerto_Rico)

The filth inside you shows how educated (?) you are. You sounds to be a BIG loser who finds problem with everyone else except himself.

You find problem with all nationalities here and sounds as if you are coming from Mars!!! You find everyone primitive here, right??? what about you, with a history of civilization of few hundred years of which your TINY colony lived under spanish, americans and who not....You want to know more about your 'filth land" ? let me know, else just get disappear and get lost!!

I have been here over 3 years with my wife. We keep to our selves most of the time. We are here to save money and go on large holidays. So far we have have seen most of the EU and Greek islands. which back in Australia it would have cost us a lot. My wife works for a government owned company so the befits are very good. housing power water and health fund included. In Australia we would have to pay for that from our wage so it is a big saving.

There is bad side of Qatar but i guess you can see them here on this website. There is one i hate the most that is no customer service and driving on roads mainly at night.

Abusing Indians is all there is to life for some people here... Ofcourse we are labelled too sensitive and having poor sense of humour too if we get offended by it.. Sun Fun Sea after living in India for 25 years, I can safely tell you Qatar is NOTHING like India..

I guess cultural shock is too much to handle for some people. Anyone who is not like you isn't necessarily poor and uneducated but I guess your education system skips that part...

Someone did lock you up in a chastity dress and forgot to give you the key for the lock, they all forgot all about you. Sorry to hear that mess, are you still under the chastity dress influence?

I will answer you true about Doha.

I stay 2 years ago and I come back now

and I cant wait to go away from here.

WHy? THis is just my opinion and please no tense, no reaction this is my life true life what I try here...

At first Qatar is not for living friendly. WHy? You dont have any social life at all. What ever you can do is connected with few good friends and most of others is false friends, parasites, sposnsor searched bitchs...

Not all of course but most of them first woman...Marocco, Tunis, Egypt, Philipina is looking how to cheat you for money or playing nice girls untill you dont show them finger and then reaction of course connected with woman rights, religion ect...lie to lies...even to police they lie like ordinary bitch for money.

Jordan, Lebanon, Nigerian and other Sudani look how to cheat you for small money...but most of this people who have family here never think like single guys...

Too many different nationality, to many small criminals, to low educational level and no social behaviours at all.

No culture, no respect at all at street, at bank, at any other social facilities...

To conclude Qatar is to come work few months and gone away. I make mistake that I return and I go away in few weeks. Hope as soon I can.

WHy? Primitive people, primitive behaviour on street people who never drive car before in life driving crazy, killing others, pushing and thinking that all street is just for them...No left no right yellow sign, no respect just who is faster, who have more power...

no minimal respect of rules...

Again I repeat NOT ALL people is like this but most of them.

Qatar is one small India, too much Indians develop here life and thinking how nice is living here...maybe for them who come from pore undeveloped country side...

no basic school, all they have diploma of Indian Universities...they dont know nothing at work systems...

You wont more?

If you can find a job in other country go there.

I didn't realize I should introduce myself before asking this...anyway..thanks for pointing it out.
