Just a thought on caging animals :

What gives us the right to restrict the freedom of any living thing that god has created , with wings , limbs , hunger and pain - for the very obvious reason that they may move about as free spirits and survive among humans or apart from them ?

Isn't it a pure sadist joy to be enlightened at the sight of caged life ?

Let us revel in these colorful scenarios :
Case 1 : we are attacked by aliens . They collect a couple of human specimens and take them back to their highly advanced land and preserve us in specially prepared lab cubicles where we are fed , sheltered and displayed . Each specimen has a name plaque in front describing nation , state , ethnicity etc ... Would we feel safe and happy ?
Case 2 : There occurs another era of colonialism . Vast parts of our world are captured by a major military force . The world is divided into slaves and conquerors and for fear of a mutiny , the slaves aren't allowed to reproduce . Whole races become extinct and 1000 years from then , we have human zoos - where superior races can watch and learn more by observing caged specimens from nearly extinct varieties ( southasians , East Asians and so on )
. Put your self in this situation .
We make them extinct , we rob them off their freedom - surely there aren't any creatures on earth as cruel as us humans ??!
The case 2 scenario is something that may very well happen . It is not an impossible thing . I wish we were all more careful , because the world runs on karma and karma spits back .

Do you know a Human Being is also called as a higher animal .

Exactly my point . How different is a human from an animal for us beings when everything is directed at exploitation and enslavement ?

For one , you are not a real fat donkie - you have proved it yourself ;)

For two - I never mentioned I don't like donkies .

For three - I did not get you wrong . You like your Yorkie , but you don't approve of my examples.

I understand , not everyone is enthusiastic about saving animals from a sad plight . It is your right to criticize and comment .

I agree - it wouldn't be as fashionable . There are a lot of ugly faces there .

Let us first rid those human beings who are caged by other human beings before we turn the spotlight to the caged animals. But it wouldn't be as fashionable to talk about as is talking about animals...:((

Human beings, due to their 'fist sized gray organ' have invented far too many reasons to kill, subjugate, enslave, cheat and betray other humans and animals just to be a bit more comfortable in life.

Yes, it's purely sadistic to feel good watching an animal in a cage. Animals never mess with us intentionally..they only do so when they are either hungry or feel threatened.

The more I see, read and understand this world, the more I love animals.

Oh - but aren't you a fat donkie and concerned with the well being of your fellow animals ?? :)

Who dictates the norms to weakness and strength ?

We are strong by mere chance , like how some vermin can still live after it is decapitated . We have that fist sized , grey celled organ which enables us to label ourselves stronger . We aren't stronger then the elephants , the hippos or even some species of dogs . We have mental superiority and also happen to be losing a large chunk of that in this time and era.

The strong make the rules. The weak are subjugated.
