Dracula
By Dracula

The NASA Earth Observatory posted this photo taken by an astronaut on the International Space Station on October 13, 2012.

It puts Doha at the center, with Al Khor & Dhakira on the left (north), and Wakra and Mesaieed to the right (south).

You can also see the camel race track, the Dukhan oil field, and in the bottom left, Bahraini capital Manama is glowing almost as brightly as Doha.

First of all, it generously shows what waste of energy is prevailing in Doha. People should be sleeping. They probably are, but the lights around their houses are still on. The environment says a big 'Thank You'!
