Things you need to know before buying the AirPods Max in Qatar

Apple had recently announced the launch of the AirPods Max, Apple’s spin on wireless headphones with active noise cancellation.

Comprising some of the market’s best features, Apple has taken a consumer-oriented approach with its latest product and is one of the best sounding headphones out there.

Generally, individuals who choose wireless headphones, over other substitutes, wish to immerse themselves with whatever they are listening to, whether it's music, YouTube videos, movies/shows, or even podcasts.

If that is what you are looking for, you will definitely find that in Apple’s AirPods Max which has been announced at the price of 549 USD. Some of you might be concerned whether this product is truly worth its price, an amount which could perhaps be spent on the new PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.

Although we cannot make that choice for you, here are some things you need to know that can maybe help you make your purchase decision when it finally arrives in Qatar.

AirPods Max Design

By using metal (aluminum and stainless steel), Apple has decided to differentiate itself from other competitors in the market. As a result, the product is sturdy and is expected to you for a long time.

The reason why some of the best-selling wireless headphones are made of plastic is so that they can reduce the overall weight of the headphones, allowing consumers to use the product over longer periods.

To compensate for this, the AirPods Max comes with a thin and very flexible mesh in the top-band which allows you to evenly distribute weight on your head.

Although you are likely to still feel that weight when moving your head around too much, weighing at roughly 380 grams.

Apple has decided to go with the over-ear headphones while replaceable and magnetic mesh ear-cups with memory foam, making it soft and comfortable to wear during long sessions.

The magnetic and replaceable ear-cup is a feature almost never present in wireless headphones, allowing the user to replace it when worn out.

You can purchase Apple's ear-cups for 69 USD, a great feature for those who wish to use this product every day for the unforeseeable future.

Airpods Max Functionality

Apple has decided to not include touch functions in the AirPods Max. Instead, you can find a large knob that can be rotated for volume and pressed for media functions.

According to online reviews, it features one of the best active noise cancellation modes and is said to be on par with Sony’s XM4.

The transparency/ambient mode is also fantastic, with ambient noise sounding less distorted, unlike other wireless headphones and earphones.  

Similar to other Apple products, the AirPods Max too connects seamlessly to your other Apple devices.

AirPods Max Case

The case design for Apple’s AirPod Max is something you either love or hate. However, Apple has designed it in such a way that almost forces you to always carry it around.

Moreover, the case fails to protect the mesh in the top-band and may be a cause of concern.

Since the wireless headphone does not has a power-off button, the case is almost a must if you want the headphone to enter low battery mode and meet the promised 20 hours of battery life.

AirPods Max Sound

The AirPods Max does not disappoint when it comes to sound quality, with many reviews pointing out that it sounds just as great as some of the best wireless headphones out there.

With large 40 mm drivers behind the ear-cups, it features clear sounds at any volume and the audio does not get distorted even at max volume. However, there is a level of noise bleed at around 75 percent or higher.

Keep in mind that the AirPods Max does not include any waterproof features, hence making it unsuitable for exercising or when it is raining.

You can also use these headphones with android devices, yet you give up many of the amazing smart features that have been catered towards Apple devices.  

The prices for the AirPods Max in Qatar have yet to announced. Although, you can expect stores like Technical Care Center, Virgin Megastore, iSpace, Carrefour Qatar, and Starlink to have them in stock soon.
