martin, sorry about that. im been so busy this days.. :(

anyway, upgrading is so easy nowadays. you can do it like 15 to 30 minutes. just download a Custom Firmware 2.0.+ that is already ready. Just use it to restore and your done.

Just go to www.applei.ph

Thanks

zhbali, they are right.. 2G or iphone classic iphone will cost you 1500 riyal or 2000. you are lucky if they will sell it yo you like 800..

but if maybe you will see a 800 price, just an advise, check it first and be careful, you'll never know that it is defective (test it first, like 30minutes or bring a friend who knows how to play with iphone..)

and for 3G, i think in our country (partner with Globe, the official carrier of iphone) they are selling it like:

8gig - 36k (3500QRs) or

16gig - 42k (4100 QRs)

TIA.

Check the QL classifieds. I have seen many adverts on the iPhones. The below link has an iPhone for 1800/-

Well... You will be very lucky if someone calls you to sell an iPhone for 800-1000 riyals. I am talking about the iPhone, which was released last year (NOT THE 3G). Even an upgrade of the version would cost you like 100-150 riyals (if you dont know how to upgrade or jailbreak).

My guess is that a used iPhone would cost you like 1800-2200 riyals.

Also, when I was in Bangkok, they are going for 5000QR, and in Dubai they are (last month) 7000-8000. Probably less now. I'll sell you one, 4500.

You're joking right? 800 to 1000 QR for an iPhone? I have an iPhone 3G for sale, but it is 4500 QR. Look on eBay and see what they go for.
