Hi! I want to know... if I bring a Nintendo wii from the USA, would it work in Qatar?? I mean the plug would be OK to use there (the power you connect to the electricity)?? Or do I need to buy a different charger for it??
Please, if anyone has done it, share with me!
Thank you
The American wii will not work in Qatar unless you buy a converter. (240v to 110v).
Do not plug in the american wii into the power socket directly else you will have a pretty expensive paper weight - not sure whether you can just change the built in transformer.
i just plugged in my transformer for the wii(american/canadian version) and heard a pop in the transformer...i think i just burnt it, anyone know where i can by another transformer for the wii.
My kids have the u.k system, but ive got friends with the u.s a they have no problems and most of the games available in doha are for the u.s a system. I bring my games in from the U.k as theres a better selection and their cheaper
d, you can check if the transformer originally provided with your console works in the range of 110-240 v, if so then there is no prob, just bring it in.
At most you will have to buy a plug converter/adapter to plug it into the electricity wall sockets. These adapters are avilable almost in any electronic shop/market/supermarket.
