I was thinking of upgrading my DSLR...The one im using now dosen't have live view. I shortlisted Canon eos50D and sony a700...one of them dosen't have a live view so was wondering if live view really is a usefull option?
Thanx.
i use it often on landscape and portraits, its the best tool to check your white balance and framing.
thanx baldrick
i did see the 50d in classifields..... ill be buying online through aramex.
Live view gives a few benefits.
1. It allows very precise focusing when you use the zoom function
2. it works in conjunction with mirror lock up to reduce vibration during long exposures.
3. you can use the camera high over head or low to the ground
I'm surprised how much I DO use it!
FYI, there's a 50D with 50mm f1.8 advertised in the classifieds. it popped up yesterday!
having a live view on DSLR is Definitely plus...but it also depends on wat kinda photography you are into...
