How to connect my laptop to a 32" samsung lcd

I'm using a VGA cable to connect my laptop to my LCD which works fine for video.After connecting the VGA cable to the LCD i change the AV Output to the VGA or PC mode
Now what do i do for audio.If i use the headphone port on the laptop for audio out,then how do i connect it to my LCD(I've a 1 to 2 chord).If i connect it to the audio in on my LCD,thn i need to change the AV output again,which means i have to change from VGA mode to the respective audio in

For audio you can use the headphone port and you can connect it with a single pin cable (both ends) which is available in Supermarkets. I am using it with my LG 32" and no problem at all.

HDMI transmits both video and Audio.

VGA and DVI transmit only Video. So you'll have to connect your headphones to the laptop.

If you have a good quality Computer, The best is like they said USE the HDMI connect behind the tv ... best conection for Computer and DVD...

Do you have a HDMI connect behind ur TV? Cos, that would be really the easiest way solving ur problem..
