Anyone having trouble with Iphone wifi network detection?

My Apple Iphone purchased from Vodafone will not
detect netowrks available. I see on the net that this
is a common problem many people have raised. Wondering if anyone had the same problem and what you did to fix?
Tried everything including reset network settings, chill fix, everything... simply will not detect anything.

Hi there,

Is your device on the latest software version i.e. 3.1.2?

If you bought it from Vodafone, then it is factory unlocked, so no jailbreak.

mine connects to wifi in my house but not to qtel hotspot on corniche..very bizzare..any suggestions?>??

If you mean 3G network access, it works, just need to mod some settings.

is it WiFi or Qtel, Vodafone signal? Iphone is still not yet legally unlocked or usable in Qatar probably it's 3rd party software or Jailbreak method.. better yet send it back to Vodafone
