Pac Man 2.0

Pac Man 2.0 workshop is organized by the Qatar National Library. Children from ages 11 to 14 can learn how to develop a new version of the classic Pac Man video game using the CoSpaces platform and will build the environment of the game and control the character to collect coins and avoid obstacles.
Build Your Virtual Character

Organized by Qatar National Library, this exciting workshop will build hacked characters online to use in an augmented reality project. Participants will use the MIT Scratch software to upload their characters, then use the software to hack them and change their appearance.
Doha Racing with Scratch

Organized by Qatar National Library, in this workshop children will learn how to develop a multiplayer racing game using block programming in Scratch. Scratch is an online platform that allows users to use visual programming to create a wide range of programs.
Build Your Virtual Reality Environment

This workshop will allow children to build a virtual reality environment, where participants will use the CoSpaces Edu software to transfer their imaginary environments to digital ones. They will upload and control characters inside a scene and change their properties to meet reality.
Code Against COVID-19

Time: 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
This workshop will teach participants how to create and control buttons, text, images, sounds, and screens in JavaScript using block coding. Participants will design an application that has useful information to help protect against the COVID-19 at the end of the workshop. This workshop is designed to quickly introduce the App Lab programming environment as a powerful tool for building and sharing Apps.
These workshops will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams, in collaboration with Studio 5/6, an information and communications technology makerspace initiative by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
