The students at Loyola International School engaged in a variety of engaging activities to commemorate Children’s Day Week, which took place on campus and also via an online platform during school hours.

On November 14, India celebrates Children’s Day annually to celebrate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

A virtual treasure hunt was uniquely organized through an online platform and witnessed the young children happily run around seeking the hidden treasure. Family members also participated along with the children, creating a cheerful occasion for all present.

During the event, students of the primary level dressed up as Pandit Nehru and spoke about the inspirational figure. The contributions of Nehru were highlighted in the form of creative posters and collages which were also designed by students.

Students were encouraged to think ‘out of the box’ and solve the puzzles creatively through quizzes which were created for middle school students.

The Children’s Day Activity Week was yet another endeavor of the school to assimilate learning with joyful co-curricular activities thus providing holistic learning experiences for students to hone their skills and emerge as confident learners.

Moreover, Principal Prasad PKV and Vice-Principal Mou Bera commended the students for their participation and effort. The week-long activity was organized and executed by Nisha Senthil and Susanna Paul, Activity Coordinators at Loyola International School.
