Magicdragon,

Thanks for information firstly i should tell you i do not have too much knowledge about these things.

It does not happen when i install windows vista, it is smoothly installed.

I have three partion of 100GB disk.

According to bios setup it boots from cd.

During installation of windows xp home edition, setup loads all files, setup starting windows,to set windows xp press ENTER.

After pressing enter this message displays.

setup did not find any hard disk installed in your computer.Make sureany hard disk drives are powered on and are properly connected to your computer, and that any disk related hardware configuration is correct.T his may involve running a manufacture-supplied diagnostic or setup program.

setup can not contnue:

To quit setup press F3

At last howmany machine can i use this original operating system, because this I installed in my Desktop already.

Please not to be annoyed because Iam learner.

Thanks.

go to BIOS settings and find out an option to disable SATA. this will solve your problem.

Does this happen when you try to install out of Vista. I suggest you set the BIOS to boot from CD. Then Windows will ask you for a partition and you should format it. Save your files before you do that. From Vista you cannot reverse into XP. If your BIOS detects the hard disk, the XP installation will also.
