qtel my wi-fi internet

i would like to ask if it is possible to someone control my wi-fi (QTEL internet which allows 5 users). the problem is we are only 3 using the wi-fi but when the time that i am using it and chatting with my friends the connection is giving me a trouble but when the my roomate is start using it his connection is very clear. i am thinking that whenever she wants to control the internet she can. fyi she is an IT expert. how can trace that she is doing something on my wi-fi modem. she know the password and everything in there. hope you can help me.

If someone knows your router WEP PW he can cut you offline but not to slow you down. internet connection speed is depend on what pc you're using & distance to your router.
