Downloading via torrents
Hi everybody out there,
I would like to know whether downloading movie/music/softwares etc via torrents is legal or illegal? Qtel or any one is tracking this? I am hearing from my friends talking about new released/unreleased movies can be downloaded from torrents.how far its true?

Download movie or copy movie DVD is not illegal but if you distribute or sell any of them, then you break copyright law
Qtel allows it and downloading via other ways but wts illegall iz to sell it to other guyz and the guy who calls you stupid iz weird cauze ur free here to ask any questions :)
Obviously, its illegal . if you get anything without paying which is intended to be commercial, then its illegal. but as far as i know most of the people are using torrents and enjoying their stuffs :)

Try contacting the production house of the movie you are trying to download, and ask them if downloading their movie is legal or illegal !!! They are the ones that own the movie. They'll tell you.

It is definitely illegal. What a stupid question to ask. Downloading copyrighted material is similar to walking in a store and stealing.
Some torrent sites and iso sites have been sistematically blocked by Qtel. (several discussions here in QL)
Do a search and you will find readings to do
