QFBA launches Kawader program for the fourth consecutive year
As a culmination of its ongoing successes, Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA), in association with the Qatar Financial Center (QFC) Authority and the financial industry, is launching the new academic term for its Kawader program for the fourth year in a row, which is set to kick off on August 28 and conclude on December 22, 2016.
Commenting on this occasion, Mr Yousuf Mohamed Al-Jaida, CEO of the QFC Authority, said:
“Continuing the remarkable success of Kawader program in its previous terms, this month is witnessing the launch of its new academic term with the enrollment of 25 outstanding students, who will be acquiring the latest knowledge in the field of finance and business, as well as upscale training to hone their talents and potential, in order to become successful leaders and decision makers in Qatar Financial Sector
He added: “Kawader program’s embrace of Qatar’s younger generations serves as a sustainable and optimized investment in terms of its effective contribution to the development of the national economy, as well as to continue to supplement the business and financial sector with qualified professional talents that keep up with the latest in innovations and advanced practices in the world of Economy.”
On his part, Dr. Abdulaziz Al Horr, CEO of QFBA, said:
“Our distinctive Kawader program adopts first-class education and training curricula in accordance with the highest international standards, which came as a result of the financial industry efforts to qualify the next generation of leaders. The program is designed to grant graduates accredited certifications to set them on a fast track in their career progression. Kawader program, is supported by the industry leaders such as Qatar National Bank (QNB), Barwa Bank, Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ), Ahli Bank, Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) International Bank of Qatar (IBQ), al khaliji Bank, Qatar Development Bank (QDB) Standard Chartered, and HSBC collaborating to to build a qualified human capital base of young Qatari talents, in order to support the financial and business sector in the country.
