Private events fair prices?

Many interntional schools and associations and communities organize fairs for small vendors. But their fair table charges are like 200-500 qars with very small table provided and vendors are not able to share with other vendors. Why do they charge so high? And many times vendors return with little selling. Is it an approopriate and transparent matter?
