WPS (Wage Protection System) implementation caused Salary Delay

Our salary will be delayed 2-3 days because of WPS implementation as reason out by our Finance Department, wherein salary will not be credited to our account unless check by Ministry of Labor.

I thought this system will help to prevent salary delayed? Anyone from Ministry of Labor? :)

We had the same here but we had a warning to say there could be 'issues' this month owing to the new system

We submit time sheet every 18th day of the month and should receive salary at the end of month. I don't know if my company just blaming Ministry of Labour or did not comply some requirements needed to for WPS transactions.

The whole point of computerisation is to streamline the process. Here they seem to have introduced manual controls

there should not be any delay, the system setup is one time process,

they can process salary in mid of month and it will be paid in mid of month, depends from company to company
