The faculty of Qatar University is overwhelmingly Arab dominated with very few western or East Asian faculties. How this happens?

The same reason why Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT) or All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIMS) is dominated by Indians.

What do you expect? In your country is it any different?
Because its called Qatar University , so the country want to show that they have the potentiality of their people ( Qatari and Arab ) to teach , work etc ... so yeah , nothing strange about it these days as more Arab are hired in ARAB COUNTRIES.
