where i can get IR EXTENDER

hi friends, in a hotel room, the STB box of IP-TV software is kept behind the TV. hence the remote control is not sensed . ( hotel authorities wanted the box behind the TV, not to be visible to the guest )

Hence the only way is to get an IR Extender , which will be connected with STB and the other end comes to in front of TV.

- when checked with the manufacturer, it takes 2 weeks to get an Extender from Europe ?

- Can we get "ANY" extender from local market and try ?

- Is IR Extender is brand-specific ? it can work with certain brands only ?

- where I can get IR extenders in Doha ?
