I HAVE SWITCHED MY SAHARY TO VODAFONE RECENTLY. VODAFONE SAID NOW NO PROBLEM IN CONNECTION ANYWHERE IN QATAR BUT NOW IN WAKRA ITS TOO BAD. INSIDE THE HOSPITAL OR EVEN AT HOME CONNECTION IS BAD. SO, PLZ BEFORE TAKING CONNECTION OF VODAFONE, YOU SHOULD THINK TWICE.

Many people are not happy with Vodafone service in Qatar. This has been the situation since the company started its operations here and I believe nothing much has been done to improve things. Surely, they are losing business.

I'm confused about all these mobile networks changing their names? QTel is now OOredoo and I see that Vodafone have changed their name to 'no service' :o(

Yes they don't have enough cell tower to cover whole of Qatar. This also happens within airport, no vodafone coverage. Just stick with Ooredoo, they seems to be heading in the right direction and also heavily investing in Qatar for the telecommunication development.
