Visa issues of Pakistanis

I have seen on some forums that Pakistanis (also folks from India, BD, SL) are having problems getting work visas. Is it true even for sr. management roles? I am a US Green Card holder Pakistani. My wife and kids hold US passports, though. I have significant work experience and higher education from the US.

If you are holding GC from US or permanent residency of any country, it has no value whatsoever, it all goes by your passport (and not your WIFE'S or KID'S passport). However, no comments whether or not there are problems in getting work visa for PK, IN, BD & SL pp holders, because I don't know.
