Vehicle Bank Loan Advice
I have a friend which already left Qatar for good, His vehicle handover to his trusted friend just to continue the monthly bank fees together with relevant documents (regis ID, insurance etc...) in short the vehicle regis is still under my friend's name.
Since His already out of the country and my friend Visa is cancelled, HOW can the other guy be able to renew the registration of the vehicle? Does he need any authorization letter, hand over letter or power attorney in order to get the ownership of the vehicle?
Hope you are confused with my statement.
If anyone here have the same experience, I would be grateful if you can share it with me.

give the car back to the bank and tell them that the owner of the vehicule is no more here. thats it.

I have been in the same situation ,not an issue the car can be used ,run and driven.
You can go to Muroor in Airport area (Matar Kadeem and inform them the same , they will take the responsibility and tell u further to get the authorization from the guy who sold u or you can report the user has left the country ,in that case any fines on the cars have to paid by you and issue a clearance from Muroor.
but in any case for the registration to be renewed you have to get it transferred . It is not at all tough if you do it correctly first time itself. I would again advise you to visit the Muroor in Airport area they will definitely help you .It is safer for you to go there before the current registration expires .

Now for the registration renewal i don't think that it is a problem coz it can be renewed in the old owner name. but the problem is how to transfer the vehicle to the new name without the attendance of the owner.
I guess you have to ask the police dept. they may tell u exactly what to do.
does he have his license or id card? he can send an authorisation letter and get things done

The situation is quit complicated.
But what about if the owner sends any Legal documents to the other guy like authorization etc ...
Do you think it will work.
you can do nothing, either u cannot run the vehicle, sell the vehicle, it is very bad situation and one of my friends also gone through the same situation and that vehicle is sitting idle in his garage now you cannot renew the registration as well.
