UMRAH BY ROAD
Hi,
i am planning to go for Umrah by road on 13 April 14. Due to leave restrictions, i am leaving on Sunday morning, so i want to go to Madinah first and then reach Makkah for Umrah and attend Jumma prayers at Makkah Haram and conclude my trip on Fri18/4 evening. so the route will be DOH-MED-MAK-DOH
Need advise regarding roads, distance and facilities etc. i intend to go by car with my family. it will be helpful, if any one can share the experience. pls call me on 55964031. if anyone wants take travel onthe same day, it will be great....our vehicles can go together. both will have support.
i have long driving experience throughout Gulf except Saudi. so driving long distance is not an issue.
regards

Takabbal Allah, May Allah accept it and make it easy for you.aameen.
I returned from umrah and medinah visit last week alhamdulillah. I had my family with me.All went well alhamdulillah. Most important advise is never let Ur fuel tank go below half.u will find petrol pumps from Riyadh to Medina at a distance of hundreds of kms. Also do not speed more than 120-130,since you have your family along it could be dangerous however you may feel tempted to go beyond it but my advise please keep your cool.
Also do travel during the day and stop at hotels for rest.
Just download route 66 or co pilot on your android mobile if you have one. keep it connected to charger and keep it on the dash board , its helps a lot.
rest always do dua of travel while boarding the car, n may Allah guide n protect u all trough, aameen.
