UAE license In Qatar

Hey
I am holding a UAE driving license which will expire on 2017. I here for on Business Visa.
What is the procedure for temporary lincese ?
Is it UAE lincese valid for driving in Qatar until RP is done?

I am in the same situation, will be landing Qatar soon.
Have my UAE DL valid till 5 yrs more,however; I am not sue if its only a license transfer (UAE to Qatari) or will I have to take a driving test?

No, you cannot use your UAE license for 3 months, as you require a temporary license, especially for insurance reasons. Police usually checks passport rather than driving licence.
I converted my UAE licence last week, so I know what is required/ possible.

Yes, you can use the UAE license for 3 months, once you have got RP , then you must be change the Qatari Driving License.
