Transferring Job Visa- Application Deferred

Hi,

My friend is trying for a sponsorship change. He applied at Immigration dept at Gharaffa with valid NOC from current sponsor, PCC, Attested Education certificate. The application status is showing " the application is Deferred".

While checking, he cannot find what is the exact reason for this. Some people said, he need to get a Clearance letter from CID Office that his current sponsoring company doesnt have any criminal background.

Can someone advise what could be the exact problem and what can be done?

This was because his sponsor had filed a fake absconding case via metrash.
