Transfer of Sponsorship

My contract is about to end on january and i still want to continue working in doha but under a different company. My current company doesnt give NOCs. What should i do? I need some insights on.this. Thank you!
that's a sad truth.. qatar is a nice place to work at. :(. was there an article before in a newspaper that companies were to give their employees NOCs? or are they pertaining to selected companies only?
The NOC rule is why some people consider Qatar a slave trade nation. All the power is left in the employers hands. You could have worked for 20+ years and been the best CEO of the company and brought in billions of dollars of business to your company, but they can let you go in a heartbeat and don't have to give you an NOC. Try for a job in another gulf country, many have better terms of employment.
ouch! so there's no other way? :( even if my contract is finished? :(
that if you have no NOC then you need to wait 2 years before you are eligible to get a new job in Qatar.
Expect Amazing!
Im a bit confused.. So even if I applied to another company and got hired, theres no chance for me to stay in qatar? Should I be going back first to my country? In this case, how long?
You are right... In this case, NOC is must.
sms09, I don't think it is happening that way. Furthermore the case here is not termination or resignation but the contract is ending and the NOC factor is fully up to the present Employer.
If the present company is your first sponsor, there is no ways for you without NOC. You should get one from them. Other wise if they terminate you"WITHOUT YOU GIVING RESIGNATION" and you have another offer ready with you, there is chance if you approach Human Rights Committee.
