St John's Abulance activities/links in Qatar

Hi there, could any Qatarliving member tell me if St Johns Ambulance Brigade is in any way active in Qatar, or if they have any kind of links here to other institutions?

The work of the Red Crescent Society is of course well-known, but I was wondering about St John's..

Hi Jasmine. Yes you are quite right of course - the correct wording is St John Ambulance. The work it does is purely humanitarian, but yes it has its origins in the Christian tradition. I wonder if they offer any training courses here in Qatar... Take care, Lance

Sorry to be fussy but it is St John Ambulance, not St John's. I too would be interested if you find out any information but doesn't it have a Christian foundation? If so, not likely to be here.
